Quick Muesli with Apples and Oats
adapted from Chris Carmichael's Fitness Cookbook
 


Ingredients:
  • 3cups rolled oats
  • 2medium apples - grated or shredded
  • 1/2-cup chopped almonds
  • 3/4 cup raisins - organic
  • 1 tbsp raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup dried apricots or fresh grapes
  • 3/4cup warm water
  • 4 tbsp honey

Options - you can subsitute apple juice for water and add 1/4tsp cinnamon

Steps:
Stir All ingrediants together except warm water and honey in a large mixin bowl.  Then add warm water and honey - add more or less water to make it to your desired consistency

Serves 4
Single serving = 699calories/118g carbohydrates/23g protein/15g fat
