Quick Muesli with Apples and Oats
adapted from Chris Carmichael's Fitness Cookbook
Ingredients:
- 3cups rolled oats
- 2medium apples - grated or shredded
- 1/2-cup chopped almonds
- 3/4 cup raisins - organic
- 1 tbsp raw sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup dried apricots or fresh grapes
- 3/4cup warm water
- 4 tbsp honey
Options - you can subsitute apple juice for water and add 1/4tsp cinnamon
Steps:
Stir All ingrediants together except warm water and honey in a large mixin bowl. Then add warm water and honey - add more or less water to make it to your desired consistency
Serves 4
Single serving = 699calories/118g carbohydrates/23g protein/15g fat
